Itinerary
Arrive at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport), where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Spend the first half of the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. In the afternoon, visit Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh, followed by Leh Palace and the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to the Indian Army. Stroll through the Leh Market in the evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, embark on an adventurous drive to Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views and then continue towards Nubra Valley, known for its cold desert and sand dunes. Visit Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can experience a double-humped camel ride (optional). Explore the ancient Diskit Monastery before heading back to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the mysterious Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill on their own. Proceed to Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers merge, creating a spectacular view. If time permits, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine. Later, transfer to Leh Airport for your departure, carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh.
